Welcome to The Coolony Game! In this game, you're in charge of a colony of ants. Your colony already has some basic necessities set up, including a place for your ants to SLEEP, a place for them to EAT, and a NURSERY so your colony's population can continue to grow.
Everything in the colony doesn't just happen automatically, though. In the ANTS LIST, you can delegate tasks for each of your ants to carry out. These include harvesting FOOD, harvesting WOOD, harvesting CLAY, and a few other things you'll discover along the way.
Don't forget to make sure your ants don't starve or run out of energy. As time passes, each ant's ENERGY level depletes and its APPETITE increases. Have them EAT and SLEEP so that they can continue to do other tasks.
While your two worker ants have gotten by quite well on their own, you're going to need some more tunnels and resource deposits as your colony's population increases. You'll want to DIG. Luckily, one excavation site has already been established. Assign an ant to EXCAVATE at that site in order to reveal another tunnel or other resource deposits.
When you decide to continue expanding your colony, enter BUILD MODE to choose the location of your next DIG site. It'll take some setting up, so you'll have to use some of the resources your ants have harvested to establish the new site. Once you have the new DIG site, you can assign an ant to EXCAVATE it.

This is a clay deposit. Clay is a commonly encountered material used for reinforcing tunnels. Collect clay in order to make further tunnel expansions.
In order to collect wood, your ants must go above ground. After they emerge from the colony's ant hill, they will find many twigs, which are useful when fortifying tunnels and protecting aginst bad weather. Wood is necessary for making further tunnel expansions.
Welcome to your colony's food storage. Here, ants eat a large variety of foods in order to reduce their appetite. Don't allow your ants to starve, or they will be unable to work.
In order to collect food, your ants must go above ground. Beyond the ant hill, your ants can scavenge for many foods, like fruits, insects, leaves used to grow fungus that can be fed to larvae, and more.
Gold is a rare currency. As more game features are developed, gold will be useful for buying game upgrades.
Ants need sleep in order to replenish their energy. Make sure they get plenty of power naps. If an ant runs out of energy, it will be unable to be assigned to any other tasks.
At the nursery, your ants can take care of the queen's offspring. Assign ants to the nursery to feed and look after larvae so that your colony's population can keep expanding.
